Title:  The Maze Runner

Weekends are here, and what else do you think i did today? MOVIE.

It had been sucha long time since Mas watched a movie with me, so i decided to ask her out just now and thankfully today she had no plans. :) We caught Maze Runner at 4pm and the theater was almost full. But it was just our luck that there was ONE couple seat that was still available so we got that spot yay! Alright, i'm gonna talk about the movie for abit and i will end my entry for the day after that.

The movie started with a boy named Thomas who was trapped in an elevator. He slowly learned about the community in the glade, and found out that none of the boys there were capable of remembering who they were and what landed them there. However, Thomas was rather "special" because he has dreams which showed pieces of his past that he'd been through and tried to place them together to understand the situation better. He was a determined individual and full of curiosity. But i applaud him for his courage when he helped out one of the runners who was almost gonna be trapped in the maze. I'm not gonna talk further about this, i don't want to spoil it for those who're gonna watch it :) I RECOMMEND TO WATCH IT.

Basically, the glade is in the center, surrounded by 4 high walls, whereby only one of the wall would open in the day and close at night. The runners are the ones who would go into the maze in the morning to explore it, and basically try to find a way out. As per say in the movie, those who did not manage to get out of the maze before it closes would not be able to survive the night, so technically speaking, it is a death sentence to that person. Now in this maze, there are giant spiders (or whatever the creature is) that would come out at night to roam around the maze, so anyone in there would either be stung and made it out alive the next day, or just die in there. The maze would also change its "configuration" each night, so if you are lost in there, then umm, you won't be able to make it out alive. Plus don't forget, the giant spidey.

At the end, it was found that Thomas was actually part of the team that was responsible for putting the boys in the glade. Well, there would obviously be a next movie, so this is just the first series. I highly recommend watching it. It's got suspense and action, and i enjoyed the movie thoroughly. And oh, it is somewhat similar to Hunger Games, but not close to it. For those who have watched Cube, which was some time back before year 2000, then i would say this movie is rather similar to that. :)

Title:  Pudsey.

Ohai, everyone, good evening :) I just got home from a night movie with H, as he was having his off-day today and tomorrow. Well, as i have mentioned in the title of this post, the movie is about Pudsey the dog, which is super cute and adorable!

Won't rant much about the plot in case you guys are planning to watch it. So basically the movie is about a dog named Pudsey (it appeared in Britain's Got Talent), who was a lone ranger initially, after which he moved to a home with a family. The family moved house to a quiet village in Chuffington or something, and even though the mother initially disapproved of Pudsey's adoption, she later agreed. To the dismay of the landlord, who has extreme dislike towards dog of reasons unknown (shall keep it secret), Pudsey accidentally came across his evil plans in destroying the farm in the village in order to build a huge mart for the benefits of the residents. Pudsey was determined to save his family, as well as the residents living in the village. This dog is so adorable and smart, and he knows how to dance, and have a huge liking towards sausages and pies. It is a pretty good comedy movie :)

After the movie ended, we stuck around for awhile outside the mall, and left for home at 11:30pm. Not wanting H to leave, i asked if he would like to spend the night over at my place since it isn't the first time he had a sleep-over here. Gladly, he agreed :) We've made plans to go on movie marathon for the night, and turn in late tonight. What's on the movie list would be SAW franchise, however much we could watch tonight :D We even bought popcorn from the ever-so-delicious Garrett Popcorn Shops hehehe.

Nights, lovelies. And oh, thank you for the SOTD. Blogskins sure is already a dead site.

Title:  Coming Soon.

There are so many movies coming out this year! I was browsing through Youtube last night, and i watched lots & lots of 2012 movie trailers! OMGEEEE. Why must all the good movies be released only when i've started school?! T.T

First of all, i'm so excited for The Avengers! It's confirmed to be out in theatres (in Singapore) on the 1st of May! I'll do whatever i can to watch the movie by at least the first week of May. Even if i have to sacrifice one of my tiring after-school days, i'll still do it! For the sake of Robert Downey Jr. & Scarlett Johansson :D I bet that movie's going to be a blockbuster hit in theatres.

Next, there's going to be G. I. Joe: Retaliation, and why am i going to watch it is because The Rock is acting!!! He has been one of my favorite actors ever since he was in WWF (because the World Wrestling Federation's wrestlers are considered actors & actresses as well). And honestly, i love movies involving Soldiers or the Army men & women, idk why :/

Men in Black III is also scheduled for release somewhere in May, i think. I have been a fan of Men in Black since my younger years, and i've watched both MIB 1 & 2 repeatedly, so i'm never (by any chance) going to miss this 3rd movie.

Milla Jovovich returns in Resident Evil: Retribution, playing her usual role as Alice & in this series, she'll be fighting alongside a resistance movement in the battle against the Umbrella Corporation. Surely i'm not going to miss this also, 'cause the characters in the earlier RE are going to be acting in this one as well!

The following movies (that i must watch & not miss) will be going to hit the Theatres very soon too!
  • Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
  • Ice Age 4: Continental Drift
  • Gone
  • The Dark Knight Rises
  • The Amazing Spider-Man
  • Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
  • The Bourne Legacy
  • Expendables 2
  • Taken 2

You have been good to me. Thank you so much :')

April is approaching, in less than 5 minutes. Once it's 1st April, i can start a Countdown to the first day of school. How sucky it is, but well, i'm kinda looking forward to it too. Wanna make new friends, hah!

Dinner with my family, as well as Hilmi, was great! Dad & Mum welcomed him like how i was welcomed over at his place. Mum specially cooked Lasagna today, it was spicy & yummy, with her own originality. URGH. The food's all finished :(

H went home at about 10PM, after we're done watching Red Dragon. I love the fact that my Dad & Hilmi loved my favorite actor too - Ralph Fiennes. Mum shared a similar liking towards Ralph Fiennes, but not as much as me cause she has deep devotion for Liam Neeson :p

Family stay-home movie marathon Sunday coming up tomorrow! YEY! Looking forward to whatever movies Dad's going to open. Heh. With it, my entry ends here. G'night, everyone!

Title:  Wrath Of The Titans.

Watched Wrath of the Titans @ Vivocity hours ago. There was only the 9:50PM show, so my babes & boys planned to meet up slightly late in the noon. H arrived about 4, and we (being so kiasu) headed to Vivocity just to have our early dinner there & also to walk around.

Plenty of people for a Friday, oh well. Had our dinner at this Chicken Rice Shop located at the basement. It's a good eating place, really. We purposely talked a lot so that the time will pass faster. We left that place around 6plus, then we just roamed around Vivocity. A while later my phone rang & it was Aizat, asked me where i was at etc. He told me to book the tickets first as they're already on their way. So me & H went up, and bought a total of 11 tickets. Hahaha! The person who served us was surprised when i said 11, lol.

Fast-forward to the movie! RALPH FIENNES ACTED IN THAT MOVIE!!! HE PLAYED AS THE GOD HADES (God of the Underworld). He was so, so, so hot!!! Omg, i didn't know he acted in that movie but the moment i saw him & heard his voice i knew it was him! Haha! That totally made my day heeeeee! :D

The movie was extremely good, in my view. I've watched Immortals, and i feel that the plots are similar in these two movies, however! I personally feel that Wrath is wayyyyyyyy better than Immortals. Compared to Immortals, the Titans in Wrath are giants (which is really what Titans are defined as) & not some dirty & ugly looking men as they were portrayed in Immortals. Also, i feel that Immortals was very boring. Wrath, on the other hand, had me jerking almost all the time in all the Action scenes :D Really fantastic!

Overall, it was a great day out! Tomorrow's the weekend, and i planned to just stay at home. H might be coming for dinner, it's my parents' turn to invite him here lol. I shall see him again tomorrow, hah.

Lastly! Thanks for the SOTD! :')

Title:  Some Stories Just Really Have to End.

Firstly, if you guys don't mind, do take a look at one of my close friend's Blogskins design she just submitted today @ s/t. #1! It's an awesome lay, in my opinion. Speaking of which, i realized i have not been submitting Blogskins for some time :( I've been really busy.

I spent most of my day today watching movies on my laptop. I was watching Final Destination 3, and then i came across the SAW movies. Remembering that the last time i watched SAW was like 3 years back, i decided to watch SAW 1 to SAW 3 again after FD. I had a damn great time watching them by myself :)

Anyone a fan of Jigsaw/John, Jigsaw's wife/Jill, Amanda, Detective Hoffman, or Doctor Gordon? I bet no.

As much as i hate Harry Potter to end abruptly, i hate the SAW movies to come to an end too. I wish there's more of these two movies. Especially SAW. It should not have just ended with SAW 7! There's still Doctor Gordon around, he can continue the legacy. Grrr. Oh wells, that's okay.

And oh, i had a dinner invitation from H's family, remember? It was last Friday, and it was wonderful. H's mother was really glad to see me (again) & she hugged me so tightly when i stepped into their home. Oh gosh, they really made me feel welcomed. I'm so touched, i can cry on the spot but no i didn't. But seriously, it was really heartwarming :')

My friends have already made some plans tomorrow, but i'm unsure whether i wanna come along or not. It's been long since i last met them, and i really missed them. Well, i guess i'll be seeing them. Really must catch up with their life stories ^^
