God created three things - Angels, Humans, and Animals.

Angels were created with Logic, but they have no Desire. Animals were created with Desire, but they not Logic. On the other hand, Humans were created with both Logic & Desire.

Now then. If Humans can overcome their Desire w Logic, they are considered to be way better than the Angels. But if Humans fail to overcome their Desire over Logic, they are, in fact, way worser than Animals.
